It is not a matter of being on the border.
New Mexico does not lose many jobs to illegal immigration. Those that come over work in agriculture and tend the lawns of Santa Fe artists.

Not a Richardson backer but I do appreciate common sense.

Why do you think he is opposed to stopping illegals from coming accross?

The fence idea is sheer lunacy.

If you want to stop the illegals, that is not how you do it.

Richardson and the vast majority of competent leaders know this.

I don't think Richardson is against keeping illegals out of NM, I just don't believe he thinks a wall is the solution.
