I watched Bush on TV with Blair. None of the talking heads are saying it, but the PROBLEM is BUSH. Until he's reigned in in some fashion that has some teeth, he's not going to do anything except exactly as he pleases.

Bush's made the calculation that Congress doesn't have the balls to do either of the things he'd HAVE to pay attention to, cutting funding for Iraq or impeachment, and he could well be right.

I see an even uglier America developing over the next two years. I'm not sure how it will end, but it won't be good for any of us poor Americans.

One thing for sure, if Bush continues to tell the people that spoke to him in '06 to go to hell, the Republicans will suffer even more losses in '08.
