The Democrats had no influence, they never get consulted and they had no power to influence, yet they were supposed to sit quietly on the sidelines when things went on that they didn't like? There were plenty of people, some of the Democrats, who predicted exactly what wound up happening before the war. In essence, you expect the passengers in a car to keep quiet, despite seeing the signs saying "warning, bridge out" because they don't want to disturb the driver?
