He interpreted the words "improved profitability" which were used in reference to flash in an Intel CC to describe narrower losses as the basis of proclaiming absolute and increasing profitability as such.

I think btw that Elmer said things to the contrary thinking Intel made money on flash (and if so talked about things he had no prove for). I can't read back his exact words though as I'm only a lifer.

I believe what I said was that Intel said they made money on Flash. At the time they weren't breaking it down in their financials.
