I think the price for an Italian sausage with peppers and onions at the ballpark will go up next year.

And the peppers and onions will be in smaller portions.

To put this in perspective - when I was job hunting in the Spring of 1970, you could walk into Fenway after the 7th inning and sit in the bleachers for free and watch Yazstremski hit.

In the late 1980s, we could get to the Oakland Coliseum to watch Canseco, McGwire, et al. from the bleachers for a buck. It cost more to park than it did to get into the game. Of course, beer drove the cost of the night up too. <G>
