Perhaps, but I'm sure I own some stock in oil companies as well, since I own some broadbased mutual funds. However, I'm still willing to forgo profits from oil companies to make even more money at renewables. Any smart person can see where this thing is going. You don't have to be completely altruistic to support renewables. As I've said before, I support renewables for the following reasons, in exactly the order as listed: 1) national security - get independent of the world's worst terrorist regimes...Middle Eastern despots 2) economy - unshackle us from depending on others for out economic welfare 3) environment - less CO2 and other pollution is good for the environment
