I see the same problem you do...but it was not the correct decision to draw the line in Iraq (of all places), waste billions of dollars and thousands of lives.

This enemy is stateless and our "choice" to help unbottle the genie of sectarian violence that is central and southern Iraq is taking our eye off the real danger. What kind of mindset drives us into Iraq under a dozen different theories (changing as events dictate) and which has now lost so much credibility that commissions are actually given creedence in forming exit strategies??

This is the President who standing in his jumpsuit on the carrier declared that major combat operations in Iraq are over. He didn't need to wear the jumpsuit. He didn't need to land on the carrier. He didn't need to make that statement...but it was all consistent with the simplistic approach taken to the whole enterprise.

Don't tell me that kind of mindset isn't macho.
