Bushies stand firm with the polluters. This comes from Bush-Cheney themselves. They are part of the pollution lobby. They are both bought and paid for members of the VIP elite pollution club. Both dream of big oil, big power and other pollutors having even more power than they do today. To them, no part of nature is sacred. They see pollution as a profit center, even though in the long run it hurts out economy.

The evidence is solid and alarming. Just look at their first priority in office in 2001. To scrap Kyoto and tell european allies to go to hell on pollution controls. Then came their support of the massive energy gouging on the west coast. Then came Bush wanting to roll back every environmental rule he could find, starting with arsenic in drinking water, and a lot more. Bush's EPA was stacked with Exxon type lobbyists who censored scientific data. Christie Todd Whitman quit and wrote a book about how pollution-friendly Bush-Cheney are. Of course Delay and others on congress were working hand in hand, the whole pro-pollution Texas crew which made Texas our #1 most polluted state.

Why would it surprise you that Bushies would considering bringing lead gasoline back? If they could, they would. When have they ever cared about public health issues involving pollutants? They never met a pollutor they didn't take money from and work for. Just read the book "The Dirty Truth" for many of the dirty details.
