I don't think any of those women are qualified, especially Rice and Dole. Rice is a disgrace who held onto her job on her skin color alone.

Actually Dianne Feinstein is the most qualified, but she's not running. Hillary is qualified but there is something about her which doesn't sit well with most people, I'm not even sure what it is, but it will make it very hard for her to get the nomination if she runs at all.

It's not that I have anything against women or minorities as presdient, but this country is still so backward in that respect. The conservatives especially (including all-important swing voters in key states) talk the talk, but would never back a woman or a minority. They are closet racists and sexists. You might well run a gay. Same difference.

for better or worse we still have a white-ruled patrician society, though women and minorities have successfully taken all kinds of top jobs just below the very top level.
