Hi Trev. It is getting hectic in Hong Kong. Finally!! A decade after it first got going on a very weak basis, as the first commercial network in the world. < How is CDMA going in Hong Kong, Korea, Trenton? Do people like it?> It's going flat out everywhere now. Yes, people love it. <Will China be the biggest CDMA market?> Yes, but not yet. It is amazing how long governments and others take to allow things to happen. <What technical developments are going on?> Too many to enumerate. Umpty $billion in R&D by swarms of people in all directions. <Has Nextwave Telecom bid too much in PCS spectrum auctions?> That was a great big NO! They got a bargain. <Will notebook computers with built in CDMA phone take the world by storm?> Not yet. But they are starting to be made and will soon be swarming. Wi-fi is in nearly all notebook computers now. CDMA will follow. OFDM too [QUALCOMM version]. Mqurice
