It's true Bushies are pro lead lobby and are considering allowing more lead poison back into fuel, batteries, whatever. It's the same kind of thing they did with arsenic in 2001. Everyone knows lead and arsenic are cancer-causing poisons, but Bushies see $$$ in it if they can relax the environmental laws before they lose power. It's all highly corrupt.

Bushies did the same thing right after Katrina, remember? Their very first priority was eliminating environmental regulations. Their next priority was giving Halliburton another 500 million dollar no-bid contract. As of last week, Bushies had squandered over a billion dollars during the Katrina "clean-up" due to fraud, waste and corruption. You can imagine how much they've ripped off in Iraq too.

Bushies are not all corrupt but the Cheney, Rove, Delay types who have beenn running things are certainly the most corrupt stinkers we have ever seen in power. And all of the Texas Bushies are on the payroll of big oil and big pollution. Along with many from other states as well. They never saw a polluitant they didn't think was worth making money on.

Another big lie of Bush was telling the American People that the reason he refused to negotiate for any forward-looking Kyoto type emissions treaty was that it would devastate our economy.

WHAT TOTAL BS. Maybe it would damage the bottomline for Duke power or Exxon for awhile until they cleaned up their acts, but it would absolutely HELP the US economy and raise our standard of living. In fact, the clean fuels industry would create more US jobs than any other sector. And we could start exporting our clean fuels technology. But with Bush-Cheney the pollution lobbyists in power, we have slipped far behind the Japanese and Europeans. Same with stem cell research. Just one bad and corrupt decision after another from Bush-Cheney since day one, after the stole the election to get into power in the first place.

US cities that have unilaterally adopted Kyoto have reported big gains in terms of energy savings and cleaner skies. Bush really had a nerve calling his pro-pollution program the Clear Skies Initiative. All the emissions reductions in that piece of crap bill were voluntary and kicked way down the road. He really has no shame.
