Why has the GOP become the party of polluters, gas gougers, Saudi sheiks and big oil? You people blindly follow your corrupt Texan leaders. They are the ones who care about those industries, because they have been paid by those industries. It's called being bought and paid for. It's classic corruption. Bush alone has received millions of dollars from these lobbies over the years. In exchange he has relaxed pollution laws which endanger our public health. The Bush family has also done over a billion dollars worth of business with Arab oil sheiks. And Bush took 1.5 million from Enron. Just obvious classic corruption. Pollution does not help the economy. Over time it kills economies. Nobody makes money off pollution but lazy and selfish pollutors themselves. And they find corrupt politicians like Bush, Delay, Barton and Cheney to take their money and do their bidding. Time for the GOP to de-couple itself from big oil and to join the rest of us to do the right thing. ALl other developed nations are doing it. We cannot afford to be the follower. We should be the leader. PS: Thank God we got rid of Dennis Pombo in congress. He was the worst one of all.
