I knew each of my Great Grandmothers, Grandmothers and Grandfathers.

My son's were in their late teens when their paternal Great Grandmother died. I hope they remember her well.

<<I knew only one blood grandmother very well and no blood grandfathers. I don't get a vibes from her, but I did love her dearly and she gave me some very nice Christmas presents that acknowledged my young intellect.>>

I had one grandmother who I knew well. Used to walk 3 miles to the nursing home to visit her in the winter and 7 miles home after school. She left a farm to my cousin whom she hadn't seen in 10 years and diddly squat to Ish. Poor cousin was adopted so she thought my aunt and uncle wouldn't leave him anything. Poor cousin totaled 5 new cars in one year including a 'Vette and a T-Bird so they didn't buy him another car for 2 months.
