Frankly, I'm pretty sure my old friend is not on much to speak of these days. Last time I saw him, which was in the 80's, he'd become a heck of a good rock guitarist out of the blue, but wasn't interested in partaking with the old gang. He was more interested in very reluctantly laughing at past behaviour, and getting back to business. With the ability to write prescriptions for well over 25 years at this point, one imagines he could be quite a mess indeed, but I highly doubt it (and don't really know). Hey, marijuana legalization would help, and that's a good start. It just makes me sad to know that while this would take weed out of black market hands, and likely keep our kids away from it to some great extent, the black market would live on for the sake of Cocaine, etc. That's just not good, IMHO. But, it'll be awhile 'til I can convince many that all these things need to be legalized and that doing so would actually lessen an already large problem. Dan B.
