My mother claimed that my Grandfather appeared to her one foggy night while she was drinking beer and driving me and my other sibs to Neah Bay. Before he died, she had promised him that she would never drink and drive and had obviously broken that promise that night. She said he just sat there on the passenger side and stared at her with a disgusted look on his face, so she threw the half empty bottle out the car window and slowed down. Next thing she knew, she went around a bend and in the middle of the road was a jack-knifed logging truck. She says if he hadn't appeared like that she would have plowed right into that truck and proly killed us all.
