e, I can't believe I'm gonna blame poor Intel, but here goes:

rwhigham, hard to tell what is going on until we get some inkling of what initiated the investigation.

I seem to recall Intel requesting records from ATYT and AMD, around the time of the announcement of the merger.

If there were any careless communication at that time mentioning Intel, well...

Imagine, MS suing the early Linux folks over a snide remark in an email.
