Rink, Re: Question: The class action suits against nVidia were served only days after the subpoena's. Does this mean they were prepared in advance?>

No. You'd be surprised at how quickly a US lawyer can put together a lawsuit when he smells money.

Additionally, a Google search on Nvidia class-action will get you 20+ pages so there are plenty of lawyers out there who are are familiar with the process.

There was one citation for the story carried in WSJ.

Nvidia Corp. (NVDA) said it was served with four purported class-action lawsuits on Thursday related to a U.S. Justice Department investigation of potential antitrust violations involving the company's computer graphics chip business.

I can find no such statement from Nivdia, no follow-up, and no other articles.

This is not news.
