Response to Iraq Surrender Group defeatist tirade from the enemy itself: apnews.myway.com The Gorelick Commission should have been dismissed without pay. The Baker/Hamilton abortion should have been loudly fired during the election campaign. The American people are robbed to have "blue ribbon" panels dress in black naugahide and spank them. Baker/Hamilton is already being publicly rejected by BOTH parties because the Dems are desperate for their one thin chance to keep the House in future cycles. They have collared and locked up the HBC, and kicked their traitors in the face to shut them up. AND they will be heavily pressured to extend the Bush economy-saving tax cuts as fast as they can. Contrast that with a Republican majority elected for the vision of Newt Gringrich-but sliding into the senile babble of 82-year-old Ted Stevens, drooling and threatening the world for rejecting his sacred "Bridge to Nowhere". Defeat and oblivion revives a LOYAL opposition. The Democrats spent their 12 years trying to prove their DISLOYALTY. They seem to be over that for now. Maybe they can survive after all...
