"The dollar will rise in 2007"

Must be nice to know in advance.

<The outlook runs counter to a widespread FX market view that the dollar will weaken in 2007 amid slower U.S. growth and an expected decline in U.S. interest rates.>

The minority view is always worth a listen -- perhaps not to the extent of the lunatic fringe (i.e. the deflationists), but certainly the one in ten chance that the US buck will rise and dampen inflation is worth consideration.
