I thought the ISG was the final turning point. This is the point at which most people in the chattering class can finally treat Dubya as insane, a fool, a really lameduck or an embarrassment.

For the last several years, too many people were afraid of Dubya and treated him with kid gloves. Now even the corporate media isn't afraid of deriding and/or ignoring him.

How quickly things change.

IMO the skepticism is very, very healthy.
