You must be looking at some picture I posted. It is a very nice house, and has style upgrades inside that we really like. The former owners from whom we bought had it as their mission to destroy the previous owner's showcase and replace it with their own. They had maybe 100 projects started and finished one of them. Like tearing out the back deck. Now we have to build a deck. We didn't have time to do all the painting we wanted to do, and now it's difficult because we have lots of furniture to move. Spokane's real estate market is much more reasonable than anything we found elsewhere. We looked all the way from San Diego to Missoula, and nothing came even close. We have many happy memories from when we lived in Bonners Ferry in the 70s. Spokane is where we bought our furniture, and you can't get furniture like it anywhere anymore. We just love it. Also, Spokane is home to the White Shoe Factory, which makes the best boots in the world, bar none. I've had a half dozen pairs over my career, and they are heavy but feel like slippers after you get them on.
