Lieberman was voted out by democrats. Gephardt is gone with egg on his face and didn't win a single primary. The most conservative Democratic hawk John Murtha has been the leading voice against Bush's war.

basically, you are seeing a glass of water with a few drops in it and claiming it's full. You are exaggerating wildly. In fact these days, I'm not sure there's a single major democrat who supports Bush's war.

If you're refering to Hillary Clinton trying to move to the center, fine, but remember that's a calculation on her part in case she runs for president. She knows she cannot win as a liberal. But she is not "pro-war" either. She's highly critical of Bush, but not as much as Kerry and certainly not nearly as much as Feingold.

In California we have Boxer and Feingold. Boxer is liberal, Feingold is moderate. Between the two of them they represent us quite accurately. Remember, the USA is not a liberal nation, we are a mixture. 30% liberal, 35% conservative and 35% moderate.

The real issue with Bush for me is the mess in Iraq, it's how dishonest and incompetent he's been. Carter messed up too, but at least he was honest about it.
