Clinton never took any money from the Chinese. That's a bald-faced rightwing lie. If the Clinton campaign did get any checks from the Chinese, they knew nothing about it and it was from someone who appeared to be a legit American but was secretly working for the Chinese. As we know the Chinese do things like that, with both parties. On the other hand, then soon to be RNC Chairman Haley Barbour spent many months in Hong Kong and Japan soliciting RNC contributions from people of all kinds living over there. It was not investigated but it is highly lilely some of the money was from non US citizens.
