I've read all of his books and followed Rogers since his appearances on the old Lew Rukeyser show. He is a sharp guy but, as you noted, it is often difficult to follow his recs, like buying stocks in out-of-the-way countries where you can only buy if you are in-country or buying futures and holding long term, rolling them over, etc. I'm going to consider the two other funds you've mentioned, which I have stared at for years but never bot. Now that they're down... OT a bit: Wharf, did you know there is an alternate energy ETF...PBW. I just found out about it and know nothing about it (and lots of other investment opportunities, LOL.).
