We can all make mistakes... the important thing is that we took the beginning steps to take the fight to them... mistakes are always made in war, and this war is no different, history will show Bush as the first President who did something after bj clinton did nothing but get a blow job and let al quaida gain strength... the earlier mistake was not to remove sadam in 1991 when we removed his army from kuwait... and you can expect more mistakes to be made along the way, you can count on that...

"Unfortunately, we'll need another 9/11 wake up call, it seems everyone forgets so quickly..."

Well... one thing I have confidence about: If we ever have the horror of a 9-11 type attack again, I'm SURE we will respond with smarter, more effective and competent strategies afterwards....

If after 9/11 it had been Bin Laden 24/7 until he was dead and proven dead, nobody in the world would have complained. We had every right at that point to go after him and keep going after him and his troup every single day...through Pakistan, through Afghanistan, no matter where it led. Had the focus stayed there until THAT job was done, we would have had the world on our side without reservation.

Remember when the President said he "didn't think about Bin Laden much anymore". I remember when my heart sank hearing that.....

Want to really avoid another 9/11? Make sure anyone involved with any previous plot is hunted down, killed and hung out on the fencepost. Especially the masterminds.

Why have we so seemingly abandoned the hunt for Bin Laden?
