I personally think trying to define levels of insults is making it far too difficult on yourself. It is IMHO one of the very good reasons why the Mod thread rules make it so much easier than that: "You MUST be courteous to others." This gives you, the moderator, an incredible amount of leeway. If there is some level of insult (even simply using words like 'idiot', regardless of how it is used) then they're very highly likely not being courteous. Case closed. Off with their head! ;)

Of course there'd be lots of flack in this thread, but so long as you had a bullet-proof flack jacket, some thick skin to boot, and remember that the Mod thread is what we're protecting, you'd be okay.

Whatever the case, I can say one thing for sure (and many may agree): thankfully JJ isn't the moderator!

:)

Regards,

JJ

>> Should it e.g. cover: 'that post is stupid', and 'you are being stupid here'.

Both are insults and should not be tolerated if courtesy is a requirement
