Aside from the annoyance factor, I like to post on the AMD thread because I want to make forecasts of how INTC will do. Buying and holding stock basically means one is making a prediction. Making the forecast to a hostile audience forces me to think hard about it, because I know they'll be merciless if I'm wrong. Also, I like to see the arguments against my position. Unfortunately the current members of Team-AMD, with the exception of Rink and a couple of others, just cheer mindlessly for AMD and boo mindlessly against Intel. But maybe if Rink can stop the AMD fans from insulting away intelligent people, maybe the thread quality will improve. By the way, I do have the ignore feature, but don't use it much.
