4.9 or 5.4 Bio$ .. doesn't change the deal vey much IMO.
More importantly, looking at ATI "own" yearly profits, it would take nmore than a decade to recover that investment IMO.
OK, the idea is synergy and new "jointly developed" products in the long term I know!
If I buy a business in Germany, the so-called Düsseldorf model is used for example. I wonder what value this would have given for a value to ATI ?
AMD must know something I don't ( LOL! . .of course ).
Hopefully they know better than WS .. where it is regarded that most A&Ms end worse off than before the aquisition/merger.
I just hope hope that AMD's CPU revenues/ASPs are so good, that WS just forgets about what ATI actually cost them.
