Just remember, the only states that tend to make any difference in the Presidential race are fairly conservative ones. I was actually a bit shocked that Harold Ford was knocked out of the race with one racist TV ad. I thought we'd evolved past that as a country, but apparently not in some quarters. I would prefer to see Obama as a VP candidate, or for him to wait. Time is on his side. Also remember, whomever gets in in 2008 is going to have to fix our entire military and foreign policy situation. I would stress foreign policy and military experience next time.
