You know, this whole discussion reminds me of how the administration supporters were running around saying how no one had any idea that terrorists were considering flying planes into buildings or that the levees could breach in New Orleans. Is it amnesia, or just a superficial grasp of reality? Now true, in Shorty's case it is the latter, but...

Mr. Bush looks very much like one of those presidents who can do war easily but nation building seems to be outside his capabilities.
