Why are they bogus? You mean China and the US don't really burn 2.8 billion tons of coal a year? Or the atmosphere doesn't mass 5*10^15 tons? Or maybe that CO2 doesn't account for 0.035% of the atmosphere? Or that CO2 doesn't mass 44 amus? Or that if you burn that coal it doesn't really produce 10^13 tons of CO2? What is bogus here?

Just sticking your fingers in your ears and going LALALALALALALA doesn't really mean you win the argument, you know.
