If Harold Ford at won I'd have more faith in Obama's chances. But I'd still like to know more about him other than the obvious fact that he's bright, positive, charismatic, Christian and voted against the war. Also, if his name was something like Harold Ford I'd have more confidence. Know what? Maybe we should be monitoring what the rightwing are saying about Obama. That will give us a hint of what to expect from their attacks. I've already heard the racist talk and the rumor being spread that he's a Muslim. False of course, as all rightwing smears tend to be. See, it's not a cut and dried case. It's still very much a question mark. Obama has not been battle-tested. Not at all. And now Kucinich is running. So there goes part of the extreme anti-war vote.
