With Bush is was VERY CLEAR that he was an empty suit BEFORE he ever ran for President...It was all packaging...Most folks (and many in the mainstream media) did very little due diligence on Bush...It was clear he was a lazy man who never applied himself in school and was often bailed out of trouble in the business world by his father's friends...The only reason Bush was able to get ANY traction in the political world was because of Karl Rove. The Dems also did NOT run very good races against Bush in 2000 or again in 2004...Many of us know there was voter fraud and lots of dirty tricks but those races never should have been close.

btw, it's amazing that Bush actually was selected to run for President by the GOP -- that says A LOT about that party.

"A TRUE AMERICAN PRESIDENT coming out of the 08 elections will require to be:

-- absolutely brilliant
-- utterly resourceful
-- already enormously experienced
-- with rock-solid personal integrity
-- 1000% honest
-- NOT in in for the money
-- an International Diplomat respected worldwide
-- defender of the Constitution/Bill of Rights who will ROLL BACK the Bushwanker's disgraceful transgressions."

Respectfully James, I'm sitting here thinking of past presidents, some that even I thought were very good, but I think you ask for the impossible. I cannot think of any politician who would pass muster on "-- 1000% honest".

And we haven't even got to "-- NOT in in for the money". <g>
