Re: First 65nm overclocking report

Another overclocking report:

xtremesystems.org

The 4800+ clocks up to 3.1GHz on air with an FX-74 cooler, which is at least a couple hundred MHz better than the average 90-nm A64 X2. The motherboard didn't like the 1/2 multiplier of the 2.5GHz 4800+ so it is reported as a 2.6GHz 5000+. Too bad the temp readings appear to be inaccurate (idle temps @ 13C and 8C well below normal room temperature).
