<yawn> gore will do nothing to energize voters

dean could've won in 2004 if the DNC had the gumption to nominate him

stop thinking about theorized electability and start thinking about the guy who is best for the job

if you're willing to believe that he can't win because he's black and his name sounds funny...
well then you yourself are a party to the ongoing bigotry

Soi guess what, John Kerry may be our best candidate. Believe it or not.

<chuckle> Must be an interesting alternate universe you're living in. Kerry is finished. As far as the Democrat Party is concerned, he's become toxic waste. I see that even fat Teddy Kennedy is turning against him.

It must be kinda lonely being the only groupie left in his fan club..

Both Kerry and Gore failed to capture the minds of a majority of the American people when the time was ripe for them. Gore was coming off a very successful Presidency of Clinton where people were prosperous and the people would very have voted for Gore if he went on the campaign trail with Clinton. But what did he do instead?

Kerry first of all was the alternative-to-Dean (front runner) candidate. Now there is nothing wrong with that. But then Kerry failed to capitalize on the surging tide in favor of him. He refused to get down in the field of play and take part in the game of personal attacks, ones coming from the SwiftBoaters, the Rove machine etc. Instead in typical Boston Brahmin style, (remember Dukakis) he just theorized that people would vote for him based on his military achivements.

So I think both Kerry and Gore are history even if they decide to seek the nomination from the party.
