Our president doesn't have to be an exciting charisma machine. He just has to be solid, honest and know what the hell he's doing. I think this characterizes Bush. He knows what he is doing. But we all wonder if he is doing the right thing the right way. Even though BUsh is not all that exciting, he is at least solid and somewhat honest. Bush's single biggest mistake is that he thinks "he can never make a mistake" and that he hasn't made any. Maybe that is why he is "solid" to the point of appearing inflexible.
