Young people came out in droves in 2004. Remember the Hip Hop nation that was going to beat Bush for us? Young people are now overwhelmingly pro-democrat. They'd love to see Obama on the ticket, but he could be a VP instead of the presidential candidate and you'd get the same bang for the buck. Also, if Obama were just a VP, the rightwing smear machine would be less likely to play the race card, which could be just as effective in parts of Missouri or Ohio as it was in Tennessee. yes Harold Ford did a great job, and should have won by 15%.
