I don't think Obama would have any problem with his race, except among hard core racists. They ALREADY vote straight Republican, so it's a non-issue.

Is the country ready to elect a woman, or a black man, President? Maybe, but maybe (probably?) not. That's what the Dems are offering in the two front runners. And the Reps are going to be running a white guy... no blacks or women in sight. Unfortunately, none of the white men running whether on the Dem or GOP side are worth a damn.....really. Some are better than others but none of them have the class, intellect, education, leadership that Hillary and Barack have. And none, including Hilary, have the charisma of Obama. I going to go for broke. Obama is my man unless someone better and more winnable comes along. I am sick of these rich, powerful white men with the genes and morality that have grown thin and weak. They don't represent my America.
