Haq, Africa has a number of "Lost Cities" that were highly developed economies in their time before being overrun by some other force or natural disaster. Some of these may have been populated by the Carthaginians and some were populated by indigenous people.

Some of the races in Africa have oriental features and may be the progenitors of Chinese or other oriental peoples.

If you want to discuss far more advanced ancestors you have to look at Cambodia. We could also discuss certain Andes cultures that were irrigating over a thousand years ago.
