Ed picked a clunker of Texas company that held assets in Russia. Ed claimed misleading info by the company's CEO. Could happen to anyone, but factor that into your investment decision.

I know a four letter word that starts with "l" and ends with "r" for anybody who says they've never picked a turkey <ggg> .

Could happen to anyone

But not, of course, to you.

It's the nature of the biz. When you go elephant hunting in the hydrocarbon jungles you have to expect that the majority of your picks will turn out to be blanks. It's just that the potential returns from one or two elephants out of ten more than outweigh all the losses.

This is also the reason why IMO when you are elephant hunting you should hold, at a very minimum, five stocks of this type, preferably ten, to increase your odds of hitting a few good ones and coming out ahead overall.
