The Iranian president did not give a reason why the budget had run over.

. . . . . I can give you one reason.

The $60bn government budget . . . coffers will run empty three months before the end of the current Iranian fiscal year.

Let's see, that's 25% of $60 billion. So the government of Iran has run short by $15 billion.

By the end of 1945, the Manhattan Project cost the United States $26 billion, in 2006 Dollars.

Developing nuclear weapons costs far more than most people imagine. This is one reason North Korea has failed in their project.

... all else aside, Ahmadinejad wants an attack on Iran - in my view.

... perhaps more people should stop and think about why.
