I would never turn my back on any of those whacko arabs..." The Paks ain't 'Arab', but I catch your drift. (We originally started supporting largely Sunni Pakistan with military and civilian foreign aid in an almost 'knee-jerk' reaction to the Soviet backing for India --- but those reasons are no longer operative.)
