If you watch Fight Club as a psychotic dream reverie by Ed Norton Jr. as all the characters, the movie is more fascinating. I just watched Bernardo Bertolucci's "The Partner" based on the Dostoyevski short story, "The Double". A very similar theme though very different in presentation. (Best part of the DVD is the interview with the Director)

For those who have seen Fight Club, anyone notice the not-so-coincidental number of themes that seem to have been lifted straight from Partner?? Does anyone know if Partner shares more in common with Chuck Palahniuk's novel or with the adapted screenplay?
