Hi Jim, I've often thought about the eastern block nations in these regards because many of them leap-frogged directly to wireless, both fixed wireless local loop (WLL) and mobile, after the fall of the Berlin Wall as a remedy around ailing wireline networks that had been neglected for decades. I recall having read some horror stories concerning the shape that some of those networks were in back in the early Nineties. It only makes sense that some of them would be better equipped at wireless at this time, as a result. Thanks for posting evidence of the distinction. FAC
