It's mostly hype. Hillary and Obama, who knows if they are even running? All we know is that they are testing the waters. I put them both on the level of Guiliani. Non-traditional candidates with ambitions and talents, but all with big question marks as to whether they can win beyond their somewhat sizeable fan clubs. I also suspect the GOP is helping to hype both of them.

If history is any guide, the non-traditional candidates will all fall by the wayside in the end. Unfortunately for Hillary, she is not Bill. And unfortunately for Obama everyone saw Harold Ford go down due to a single racist ad which he was powerless to stop.

The result of all this I see is a lot of people calling for Al Gore to run. They're not ready to embrace any of the others yet. And all the media coverage is Hillary and Obama, neither of whom I would think would win New Hampshire, Iowa or Nevada the first three primaries.
