I guess because the yields are extremely good, fastest ramp ever, etc. Again, according to ephud, he is capable of full control of all their plasma beams and etchers, turning Boltzmann distributions of dopants into delta-functions. I think they have hired a team of Maxwell demons to do the job right..

It also could be that, since top executives love driving hybrid wheelchairs and apparently up to save the world from global warming, the rest of the capacity will be turned into production of photovoltaic cells. Reasonable idea, right, PV cells from a 45nm technology? Then yields will definitely be 99.9999%, period.
