Huh? I'm saying that calling 115mm^2 "ideal" makes ~125mm^2 seem "not bad", when in fact it is pretty lousy. And yes, combined with the lateness & low-clocks, I think the ~.68 shrink factor is evidence for process difficulties. In fact, as others have pointed out, the core (non-cache) logic scaling seems pretty bad. We'll know more if AMD deigns to provide a high-res die photo of Rev G tomorrow.
