I have correctly predicted every presidential contest since Carter. I predicted Kerry would get the nomination and that it would come down to Ohio. I predicted Clinton would win before the first primary. I predicted Carter would win before anyone had even heard of him. I predicted doom for Dukakis and gloom for Mondale and Dole. I predicted Gore-Bush would be razor close and come down to the wire. I also predicted the 2006 midterms almost exactly. I am not bragging, though it sounds like it. I just want you to know that I am no fool. I know politics and have a very real feel for what's really going on. So don't say "sane people" put me on ignore. 2008 will depend on who's running. Until we know that we can't predict anything. But there are scenarios where none of the top 3 Dem candidates in the polls now are even in the running. There is also a scenario where Gore enters late and cleans up. And a scenario where surprise-surprise Comeback Kerry II really works this time. One thing I will predict, that Hillary will not win. I'm not sure when she will lose but probably early, if she runs at all. I also predict Obama is having very serious thoughts about waiting and may not run, though he is certainly exploring it. If he runs I think it will be a mistake because he's far stronger in 2016 than 2008. By then America will be one shade darker skin color than we are now. That will be his perfect time. I also predict an Obama backlash if he runs. and one of the ugliest smear campaigns in modern times if he is nominated, which will probably work. And that would truly be tragic.
