Right now, John Kerry is in the Middle East doing what Bush and his people should be doing, talking to all the leaders in the area about common sense solutions to the catastrophe Bushies have caused there. But all a nitwit like you can do it criticize him and pretend he's some kind of dilettante who lives the lush life. There is nothing pleasurable about going to Damascus, Iraq, Cairo and Tehran to try and break the ice and arrive at real solutions. In fact there is nothing easy about anything Kerry's ever done in his life to fight for our country. He never takes the easy way.

This trip of his is a clear example of what a great statesman and commander in chief/chief diplomat Kerry would be. He's not skiing in St, Moritz. He's not loafing at the ranch. He's not in anyone's pocket. He cares very deeply about our country, people, world and military, and he's doing everything he can to help us, while cretins like you throw rotten eggs and lie about him.

You apparently have no idea what Kerry is about, nor what would make a great president. In fact you sound like Sean Hannity. You also seem oblivious to how our political system works. We don't elect presidents because they are good at telling jokes, we elect them because they know how to get the job done. And it's going to be a huge-huge job cleaning up after the Bushies.

Also, your smears reward the dirty politics of the Bushies and punish their victims. So you encourage more dirty politics instead of rewarding Kerry for waging a clean issues-driven campaign. So you're playing right into the hands of Karl Rove and the exact same dark forces which are bringing this country to its knees.

Kerry will beat Edwards again, if it comes to that. Edwards is a really likeable guy, with charisma and the southern accent, but his problem is no one can imagine him as commander in chief. Hillary and Obama may have similar problems. Can you imagine any of those three ordering our troops into battle? Especially up against McCain, it just doesn't compute.

In Iowa Edwards is very popular, he has spent more time there than anyone. They really-really like him in Iowa. But when it comes to actually voting for him, most of them won't. So Edwards is probably running for VP again and he'd make a good one, though I'd rather have Clark because of the mess in the Middle East.

Of course the real question is if Gore is going to run. Because IMHO he beats all of them, including Kerry, so long as he sheds 20 pounds. Al has been putting on weight lately. Anyway, sorry John, but if AL runs he gets it because he got cheated first.

BTW: You still owe the threads and explanation for why you smear Kerry with lies and make personal attacks against me. What's your agenda? Are you an Edwards supporter? If so, he's tastes great, less filling. But just doesn't have the gravitas.

In the gravitas department, Kerry has everyone beat, even McCain. That's why he tries to tell jokes when he shouldn't, for some comic relief. By 2008 I'll bet voters will want a very serious president. Gravitas will matter.

Kerry picked Edwards in 2004 to deliver several swing-states. Edwards did not do it. Edwards spent a long-long time in Florida and had no luck. He didn't deliver rural Iowa or Missouri either.
And Wisconsin was much too tight for comfort.

Bush's dirty campaign and willingness to cheat and constantly lie was the real culprit, especially in Ohio, along with the media's tolerance of his phony claims and smears, but let's not forget that Edwards failed too. As it turned out, Kerry should have picked Wes Clark, a super solid military man who would have covered his back from the outrageous smearvet attacks. Edwards seemed like a great idea at the time, but actually did nothing for Kerry. And Kerry needed him. He never denied that.

Remember, LBJ delivered Texas for JFK and that made all the difference. Gore also helped Clinton carry several southern states. But Lieberman and Edwards contributed nothing. Which put Bush in power. A democratic running mate must add some electoral votes to the game. When he fails, the ticket fails.
