What's Really Happening in the Economy? tcsdaily.com; This article is a joke.....it never once deals with the issue: that the rich are getting rich at the expense of the poor. It brings up a lot of other issues including the fact that as a whole Americans are in the top 1% of world in terms of income. Who cares? No one is talking about the rest of the world......the comparisons that have been made are with groups within the US. You know......the last few years, I've learned how the right has bamboozled everyone the past ten years. To win arguments, they make things as complicated as possible, couch things in terms people don't use a lot like "second lowest quintile".....what the hell is a quintile......and then create a lot of strawmen in order to obfuscate the truth. Its enough. Tim, when you find a right leaning economist who speaks clearly, uses simple language and doesn't create a rat's maze of an explanation while actually dealing with the issue at hand let me know.
